I've always thought Tauranga or thereabouts would be a good mix of saltwater fishing, freshwater fishing and hunting, as well as climate. It's a shame that it's now in Auckland's sphere of influence...

My boy got his first deer yesterday. Not the first ive shot with him but the first he has done all the hard work and taken me right to them for a 20m shot. Certainly not perfect and a lot more still...

best thing would be to glue a hip flask in the butt stock, fill to the brim of the spirit of your choosing and enjoy. just need to make sure you finish it all so it doesn't slosh!

Looks bloody good. When I was making mine I did 4 layers of 200gsm carbon fibre and another 3 layers through the pistol grip area.

Have carried one deer out in it, worked fine. Been using it in the bush a little bit, carries 30 leg hold traps alright + gear.

Trimmed back pontoons and fought and swore and cursed to pull back fucked up pressing angles to cap them off...should of scrapped them and started again but I am trying not to dwell on it remember...
