    Some manufacturers used wiring that had soy based insulation that attracts rodents. Not the smartest idea but I’m sure someone received a bonus for the cost savings/being green.

    I would verify the twist with a cleaning rod. Some 9 twist were a little short. My Ruger Hawkeye is a genuine 9 twist. My Savage 9 twist are 8 5/8. I can shoot the long 75gr Amax from the Savages...
