   Energy doesn't kill things projectiles do. Just need the right type for the velocity and put it in the right place. Otherwise the 223 would never kill anything.

    Another vote for 308 from me of course. On the Bergara have you tried the mountain premier? It's not what I would call an ultralight but it is a lot lighter than the extreme.
