Yeah for me the weight of a rifle is in it's own category from overall weight as you hold it rather than have it as pack weight on your back, I am doing a shorter barrel 6.5 build and want it light....

I think it makes sense if you are doing everything - carbon stock 130 - 200+ grams lighter depending on model, barrel fluting is 150 - 200 grams lighter and then you flute the bolt at 80 - 90 grams,...
