I've shot a big stag at 500 although it was with my .260 but same bullet and only 50fps faster than the Creedmoor. I've also shot others at 450 and goats at 480 with the Creedmoor. I know @Beenupto...

Effective you are gluing the rings too your rifle, it helps ensure a strong bond but is not something you have to do. I've used theses Talleys for years without epoxy or loctite. If you end up...

I read somewhere 15-20 for the rings, 20-25 for the bases. Its what i have used without any problems. When tightening the ring screws with a torque wrench, i end up applying less force than i used...

Clicks are firm and audible, feels better than original plastic adjuster. I don’t think it would easily move by brushing past foliage etc. plus since there’s now a zero stop it’s easy to quickly...

Yes rebarreled not reamed. My rifle was a stock standard 1:12 223rem T3 that I picked up cheap on Trademe for $700 then sent it off to the gunsmith for a new 1:7 12” barrel with the same Tikka...

The other option is try and find a cheap stainless 222 or 223 and rebarrel it with a Trueflie or other top quality fast twist barrel.

Kimber Adirondack are the only factory stainless steel bolt action that I know of. Gun city had some semi custom Howa, CZ and Tikka T3 in stainless made up a year or two ago with cheap suppressors.
