green pack is supposed to be non corrosive, yellow pack is corrosive i wouldnt trust the packaging and take precautions anyway, 5 minutes of cleaning is far cheaper than a new rifle

Yup done plenty, wear eye and ear protection and do it gently. I've never had one go off but if it did the above precautions would be plenty safe
