As with any projectile shot placement is key. You will find you can make 1 bullet work at a multitude of different distances. As long as you understand what it's designed for and perceived...

Great pig gun. Drop it and singe it in one operation.

I'm just having the same issue with Norma brass in my 260rem. All cases which have been amp annealed. Splits on 1 in 4 cases on first, 2nd and 3rd firings. I've checked neck diameters on new, loaded...

Are all the splits the same shape/type? The photograph you posted looks like the split is inwards not outwards as if the expanding case has been forced onto something. I'd be surprised if it...

I reckon talk to Alex at amp annealing. He is very approachable and I would imagine there's not much he doesn't know about that sort of thing. Ultra sonic cleaning is an interesting thought Sent...

You generally get 0.5 thousandths of spring back when firing. So your chamber will be 0.2975 - 0.298 at the most.

That is an unusual split, not going through to the case mouth. Because you are so through with the brass prep and the Lapua brass should be just fine. I think there is something wrong between the...

6.5 CRD liked post by jackson21 On thread : Bullet seating depths
Pretty much follow this start off at 20 thou or mag length for powder test/pressure. Sometimes try out to 120 thou, also depending on how projectile sits in case, I.e not sitting right out or...

Be silly to buy anything other than a 6.5CM in a factory rifle for general purpose hunting these days 140-147gr 6.5mm bullets of the right construction at 2600-2700 fps kill things extremely well...

Err you would have an 18 inch 260 but wouldn't go shorter than 20 in a creed? You reckon the less than 2% capacity difference will have any meaningful effect on performance in a short barrel?...

Try some different seating depths with the 2206h. You will find your group sizes change. Then you might have the velocity and the accuracy.

You’re right, my maths sucks. But the point remains, +/- 1mm difference in seating depth makes a massive difference.
