Yeh, I've been "advised" that I'm not allowed to go out and shoot any more. I interpret that as only a guideline (at my peril).

I made a dedicated licking box for a salt block which I mounted about a meter up a tree but not one deer at it in over two months. Some shots of others mooching nearby but showing zero interest. Salt...

Yeh, the condition factors are amazing, best in years. I attend two annual private tournaments which have been going for over 20yrs and the last one in early March had an average fish weight of...

Clearly ;-) I'm only going on my experiences with 30+ factory die sets. If upstrokes were gritty, it almost invariably pointed to inadequate lubrication as neck walls aren't thick unlike...

As far as std "synthetic" stocks go, the T3/T3X stocks are pretty rigid and have far less forend flex than most. About three planets ahead of a Rem SPS (shitty plastic stock).

A die will only give you longitudinal scoring, not circumferential. DEF suspect it's chamber machining marks.

Worth trying sweet Thai chilli sauce instead of brown sugar. Gives your pies a little lift.

If you're planning to run a DPT can, you'll need basically 16" to clear the forend. CFE223 will give good vels with a 120 TTSX in such a barrel. Still plenty of killing power out to a solid 300yds.
