One option in a .20 cal is the 20 Practical- just run a .223 case through the die and you're good to go. A small margin under .204 power but that round would fill any hole between the Hornet and the...

If you're trying to hit rabbits for example at 600yds, the .223 is not the answer even with heavies in a fast twist. Wind is the enemy. The 6x47L shooting say 90+ grainers would be in the ballpark....

It's become a std procedure- soon as I've got a fired case out of a new rifle/barrel, I make a modified case with it. Will give a far more valid reading than any SAAMI-based one.

A 7-08 is -fully- up to the job even with a 16"bbl. CFE223 will easily get you 2900fps + with a 120 TTSX and that is death to anything under 350yds, long as you do your bit.

It's too easy to blame runout for the so-so accuracy. As has been said, the projectile/load/powder just may not be the right one. As for reducing runout, the simplest way is probably to use a std...

Well assuming the (factory FL) die has pulled the neck diameter down noticeably, the only explanation at this point is an unusually thin neck thickness

I suggest you consider a 2.5-8 VX3 for the bush gun. My long range gun wears that Z5

It's not the power supply that causes drifting- it's simply that they're strain gauge-based. As has been said, you need to go with a mag restoration force system to keep things stable. I -never- have...
