I should probably add that I OWNED 2 dogs prior to that, they were loyal great mates that I loved and cared for greatly.

Well done chainsaw, I have never shot in the roar or gone trophy hunting but I have always thought if I managed to shoot a good stag I would certainly get it taxied. That is a lovely looking...

I wouldn't leave it ungutted and return to it next morning, the smell alone would put me off as others have said. Gut it on a cool night and hang in tree overnight should be ok like in winter...
