This rifle was test fired this morning. It shot sub MOA after barrel cleaning (was fouled) - however the scope is no good and had 3-4moa of parallax error at 100m, when set on the 100m setting....

I'd just take it back and ask for a replacement. I wouldn't be keen on getting them to work on it; rather just get a straight replacement as the thing wasn't fully functional from the get go.
