    trade in or no trade in makes a difference - same as cash or hire purchase - on say a $20,000 car I would expect at least $1000 of asking price if not more- their markup could be as much as $ $8-10 K...

    yes I dont know why it is but every time I do a deal with a car dealer- I always leave feeling I could have got a better deal if I had negotiated harder - but I guess they do it all day - me only...

    yes one can go expensive but all I do is use a spirit level make sure my table is level take rifle out of wood and use level table and rifle lugs to give me a level action I then hang a string...

    as others have said I just go by feel and make sure if its mounts requiring a screw driver- it fits correctly - nothing worse looking than munted screws

    I use quite big ones on snapper quite often land based and from boat no sinker just blood knot about 20 feet of 60lb trace and tie hook on - I got a packet of very small kahles from a shop closing...
