    best weight I can remember was a mate sold a stag from Te Kumi right up the east coast 404 lb sold shot out in the paddock in velvet - most whole stags we sold were in the 130 -230 lb mark 230...

    as a young shepherd I made $20 a week and had to work sat morning as well - I paid for dog vet bills saddle costs etc - but one good deer sold was twice my earnings -man I hunted hard it was good...

    Thank you Trout - logic - most of my zeroing is one shot to check - that's with my main hunting rifles - they dont move - they know they will be sold if they play up - then I play with my target...
