Primarily for PRS, sometimes for F class too. The key feature I want from the rifle is the painless barrel swap and option for prefit barrels.

I modified the case shared here with the hard foam came with the rifle for better fitment. The egg foam works but it is a bit too soft.

The super cheap ones will take a 24 inch barreled tikka with a muzzle brake

For flying, supercheap as a minimum. The baggage hold will end up with things either on it, by it or leaning against it...

Beetroot liked post by tikka On thread : MRAD vs MOA: Which Do You Prefer for Hunting? Considering Zeiss Conquest V6 Purchase
I find metric / Mil easier eg smaller numbers to remember when dialing, for example a 750m shot 8.1mil is easier than 27.75moa and wind holds 1.3mil than 4.3moa then cut it back to 4.25moa because...

Within quality mrad scopes, the only example that I'm aware of using a different size of mrad click is some march scopes many years ago. Everything else uses the same standard.

Well it's safe to say that there was a lot of talk, but generally of a quiet reserved nature, they were with the exception of about 3-4 guys "hunters". On the bullet catchers (at 571M) we had a...

Beetroot liked post by Ross Nolan On thread : 3 shot groups are useless!
I've always thought the best use of a 3 shot group in load development is to exclude a load. 3 shots into 15mm might grow as more rounds are fired, but a 40 or 50mm 3 shot group will never get...

When you said the group was "20 mils" I thought "that's a massive group"! Then the penny dropped. [emoji16] Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be...

Two AO’s advised an R8 barrel I purchased wasn’t a triggering event. However a Police Mail ordering form if required would’ve been. B

Need to shake off the 'cartridge' mindset and get with the 'bullet' one. The mindset of 'if I get this bullet going fast enough, then ballistics won't matter', is just wrong. The faster you push a...
