I will sharpen it for free, you just pay postage here and back, I will use diamonds to establish an edge then swap to stones and finish with Japanese waterstones at 8000grit then a strop with 60000...

I spoke to NZ Asia this morning pointing out that if I could help it, I would rather not take the scope into a H&F store, but just send the scope to them in Nelson directly. However, NZ Asia said...

Welcome. I salute your common sense starting with an air rifle, unlike some newbies who want a 7mm mag from the off. Good luck finding somewhere to shoot, sounds like you have some door knocking in...

Well it's been four days since our 8 week old BWMD (Brown Whirlwind of Mass Destruction) entered our home and my family's lives. And what an entrance.... I still bare the scabs on my cheek........

In my humble opinion I agree with both of the previous comments. I have the leupy 3-15 on my bush rifle and it's a great scope. As Micky said the 3x is better than 4x as a lower mag and 1x extra at...

I like lower powered scopes, and dont find the need to for anything above about 15X except for my long range rig which wears a 6-24. But I rarely use it beyond 15X anyways. Most of my hunting rifles...

Have a look through one. Clarity will be greatly improved. Better Eyebox also. Will be chalk and cheese. I rate the 4-14x40 as a average scope. HD5 is a big step up.

30mm tubes are to get more elevation into the mechanism. Adds nothing to the optic ability or quality all other things being equal.
