Lithgow LA101's are quite "big" 22s but supremely accurate (Annie match/vudoo class accurate) and excellent "cross over" hunting/target ergonomics.

Once again it all boils down to shot placement and using a cartridge within its (and your) limits. You can make them scream using a 223rem too.
