    That's why we insulate houses & hot water cylinders etc to keep the heat in & cold out. The carbon barrel on my CA 10 is cool to touch but the metal end cap certainly isn't.

    Fluting is a waste of time for noticable weight saving on a standard profile barrel imo. Carbon wrapping saves notable weight and has way better cooling and adds rigidity to a barrel. Much longer...

    and along with the artistic (one off) fluting pattern it could come in a multitude of barrel lengths if you thought it was too heavy, which of course it will be :) cause that's why you wanted it...

    Gunworks: PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT FLUTE BLASER BARRELS DUE TO THE TRINITE COATING (WHICH IS AN EXTREMELY HARD COATING)... so $588 more than getting done locally.
