    That was what I used in my old Sako Finnbear 270 with 150 grain Hornady flat base bullets 55 grains of H4831sc guessed speed of 2800 fps from the reloading book, once you couldnt see legs of deer it...

    Pretty heavy for what it is/size of the shelter. Pretty cool to be able to use it on the ground as well but then you do lose that flexibility by having to take the right under insulation

    Yeah man. They are pretty mean. You feel like a Nancy at first but that quickly fades when you notice how good they are. Saves the knees big time, especially on the downhill

    I still use mono...still using same rod Mum bought me 40 years ago..... dont over think it. less than 8lb will cast better 6lb is about perfect,a happy medium between cast easy and snap easy.
