I agree. My inlaws have just been through the house buying thing. I would say that it's a buyer market despite how much the estate agents are talking it up.

If it is fading it is worth replacing. For the low cost they are you don't want to ruin a good day out on the water once at the boat ramp.

You can buy a couple of good rigs for your budget. Factory ammo? 308, 6.5 creed or 243 and a 223? Do Belmont ammo still load cheap and good ammo. I wouldn't get too fussed on dial up scopes....
