    If you've still got a couple of the original rounds pull them and weigh the powder on your scales.

    When you say "LR rig" how far do you want to shoot ? and do you want to stick with 308 ? or are you willing to consider other options ? Have a think about 284 would be my suggestion as that will...

    Make sure you go shoot one before laying out dosh. Big 30cals come with plenty of recoil and big muzzle blast. If you want to shoot accurately at 500 yards then these factors need to be considered....
