touch base with the Regional Council at Rororua as well they are heavily involved in wallaby control- perhaps more so than DOC Dale Williams is the guy running it

Talk to Maurice Wilkie at DOC Rotorua. He will know of anyone wanting assistance. Or at least good areas to start asking.

YouTube is somewhat self-selecting. It's easier to film long range hunting than bush stalking (just my opinion).

Don't feed too much liver to dogs. Always mix a bit with other meat. I made the mistake out of ignorance and poisoned them with too much Vitamin D, resulting in skeletal problems later in life. ...

Great idea! I mince venison off cuts and freeze those for the dog, once I've processed the human food. I don't mince possum or rabbit, but do cut it up into wee bits and freeze sometimes.

Barry the Hunter is on to it, follows those four points and you won't go wrong. Possum is brilliant dog food. Fat does are best, and easier to skin than the bucks.
