    From my small amount of shooting I found the smaller shot sizes in steel punch through better some of the bigger pellets bind up in the feathers punching them out of the sky but not killing them

    Not much but enough to be noticed especially spotlighting it's only a personal opinion, on price point they are value for money and the scopes I had to compare it against were nearly twice the price
