Said it before and saying it again here is nothing wrong with the 10/22 especially for what it was designed for, shooting small game. Accurate enough, function the best with subsonic ammo, easy to...

105874 5mm at 50yrds, I wouldn't even change the barrel, a bit of trigger work and get into it. Remember this is a hunting rifle and not kit for winning the small bore gold medal at the bloody...

    You could try this.Weaver - Riflescopes - Classic K-Series Scopes (http://www.weaveroptics.com/optics/riflescopes/classic_k/) I bought 3 of the 4x38 and can't complain about them.

Kahles 4x and 2.3-7's come up fairly frequently. The "S" ones give up very little to the most modern scopes in terms of glass. I've bought 4 over the years and the most I've paid is $300 ish. One...

The old P14 just screams out for a 4 power pecar berlina, they do turn up occationally but require referbs if you can find anyware to get it done.

Bought this Firewolf 2-10 about 18 months ago of aliexpress cos I wanted to play with dialling my 22. Never got round to it so its sat in the draw untill a couple days ago. Decided to take the VX5...

Nail on the head there Tim, my a7 270 kicked pretty firmly but my finnbear 270 is an absolute pussycat and one of the softest shooting rifles I've owned. Stock design and barrel length have a lot to...

Nothing sucks about a 270 - but I can’t compare it with more modern options as I didn’t need one - I started with a 303 at 16 and quickly changed to a 30-06 for 4 years - I shot most animals in NZ...

I think people way overthink this to be honest. A 10/22 out of the box, has perfectly serviceable accuracy for rabbit shooting. Granted, the triggers are aids, but they can be improved significantly...

I've owned 3 x M55's all in .243 and still have one. The one I still have I bought in 1979 and it's on its third barrel. I've never encountered the problem that you have but tried ejecting an empty...

Less muzzle pressure won't lower recoil (can't , laws of physics wouldn't allow it) but it will reduce muzzle blast, which is a big part of a physiologically induced flinch (IMO)

The muzzle flash was something to behold in the late afternoon. I think it had a 16 inch barrel.

My first and only experience of a 270 was using an open sighted one a mate had. Didn't fit too well belted me on the cheek made my eyes water using the open sights. Had a Parker Hale 303 myself at...
