You will need good mud tyres and a winch to get up te aroha side. I got a fair way up a couple of weeks ago. A quad would be the go.

Bloody wind driving me nuts. Not condusive to fishing for snapper from a ten foot tinny. Latley it has been off shore wind so thought i woyld knock up a kontiki. I have never seen one before...

I always feel the need the validate at ranges. 100, 200, 250. Difference between 75yds and 275 can be a long gone deer. I fire a lot at 100-150 yards and try to have them grouping between 1"-2"...

If you're new to this game you'd be best to sight your rifle in at 100 yards - it should be 2 inches high; as Cam said. It will then dead 'dead on' at 200 yards and good to just 'point and shoot'...

Here is a typical 150 gr 308 bullet at a realistic 2790fps so simulating factory ammo zeroed at 200y You can see it is all but dead on from 20y-50y so perfect for bush ranges no more than 2 inches...
