I have found Sako to be a very good option, I run both lapua and Sako brass in my 308win with the same load works mint. Sako is a fair whack cheaper.

People have been asking Gunworks to do a modular suppressor, so they have bough one to the market. They have put their own spin on it and whilst not hugely innovative, it is what the consumer has...

Drop out polymer mags, no they won't fit a vanguard. I wish a floor plate was an option but this is still a massive improvement over the factory bottom plastic.

Acculong (Google search them) do a atlas style bipod that uses a picatinny quick release. It's nowhere near as light as a backlanz, mtn, Spartan but much cheaper and actually pretty decent.

Likewise I'm getting fantastic performance with 178gn ELDM'S 2930fps out of the 24" barrel.....granted I'm Ackley improved. I reckon the advantage of case volume with the dirty 06 is best realized...

Yeah I'm well aware of the size limits of the suron and at 6'8 and 110kg it wouldn't be at the top of my list, my observation was a generalized comment.

2209....lots of it ;) if I was into American powders RL22 would probably give slightly more but in reality my 2209 load is plenty and definitely on the warm side but brass life so far seems good.

that sums up my experience with them too, definitely effective especially on the heavier recoiling calibres
