I bought one of Ken’s stocks last month for a new build 06. Mostly due to forum feedback. Been impressed with it so far. Well made and finished, great comb dimensions, and seems to handle the...

I shoot a win pre 64 model 70 .22H. I find anywhere between 11 and 13 grains of Lill gun works well, 12-13 is best for me. Projectile choice makes a Hugh difference. 40 gn Nosler or 45 gn Sierra...

In my experience with cases stuck in dies, it’s the area in front of the web towards the base that usually binds in the LGS die if you’re light on lube. If you want a very good case lube that is...

While you can cut through both, I’m more intrigued as to why you would unless bringing animals out whole. If this is the case, purchase a butchers hand saw. For skull caps in the bush a Silky or a...

RL19 at 64, RL22 at 67, RL 25 at 70 grains all give ~2950 to 3000 fps with a 160/162 gn pill if you can find them and will produce accurate loads.

56 to 58 grains gives me 2800 to 2900 fps in a 24 inch tube with a 165 BT without pressure signs in RP brass. Better accuracy in the 56-57 grain range.

Yeah, 56-58 gns of 2209 behind a 165. Brass can matter, hint.

Hornady dies work fine if you lube inside the necks. Saying this, they are my least favourite dies.

You need to lube inside the case neck! Otherwise friction of the expander ball will stretch your case. Lots of ways to do this from graphite powder to lube on a swab, patch and tweezers or a ear...

In one inch tubes, The little 3-9x36 z3 swaro is worth a look. A bottom end of 3x is ok in the tight stuff. The 2.5-8 and 2-7x leupold’s also. Not quite as bright though to me. In 30 mm the...
