Lots of good 6.5 pills in the 120-140 range. You can add the Nosler BTips in 120 and 140 grain to your list. Not dear by the box as there is only 50 in a box. wifes shopping logic!

57 gns of 2209 and the 178 ELDx or 180 gn ballistic tip. Start at 55 and go up by 1 grain lots to 57. Most rifles are ok with 57.

Yes the 4.5-14 x40 are dim, have a critical/ unforgiving eyebox. The 3.5-10x and vx5 3.5-15x are way more user friendly. As is the baby 2.5-8x. Im also interested in the 30 mm version. Pretty...

My 1:8 does not shoot projectiles below 55 grains well at all. 55 and above, inc the high bc range types to 80+ grains. exceptional though. 1:12 shoot 40-65s (short old school designs - Speer...

So where does the 7x64 fit in this discussion. Sako and tikka both chamber it, the barrel twist of a factory 7 x 64 will allow you to throw heavies also. The case capacity, velocity of the round is...
