I've had a few. If going with a custom fast twist tube consider the AI version. You have to trim cases with this one. WW 748 and WW760 are good alternatives to 2208 if needed.

Toby, I would look at a new Kahles 2 - 7 x 36? or a leupold v3 2.5 to 8 x 36. Both good scopes for bush work. Kahles glass is pretty damm good. Worth about a grand here. Leupy should be 550 ish.
