dirkvanvuuren liked post by 10-Ring On thread : Need 6.5 Creedmore load for Tikka rifle
I have a Tikka T3x and the throat is quite long and the magazine is M+ so you can seat the bullets well out. This drops the pressure so with my particular Tikka I can load in more powder and get...

Should be checked using a gauge for your own rifle...and for each projectile. I can fit 73mm for any projectile as the Mag is the limiting factor... or hand feed to 74.5mm the high BC rounds in...

Its the new normal. Within a day of the Mosque shooting a petition was circulating around my central Wellington street to get Gun City closed down. Im surrounded by Green voters, liberal arts...

Reading what you are trying to achieve, I’d suggest doing things properly the first time, probably saving yourself money in the long run and re-barrelling your T3 to 7 Blaser Magnum. This gets...

This is ture, but my tikka 300 wsm even over 100 thous off land and factory mag feed, it shoots better than seating it out to land. Modify the mag is easy then get a long bolt stop or just filing...

"Cleanly take animals out to 1000m" :wut: I'd urge against that unless you're really sure in your own and you your rifle's abilities. The chances of maiming/wounding an aminal goes up and up,...

Is it just me or are all the people that are saying the scopes are crap have never used them, and the ones that have used them/own them think they're great?

My understanding was no, it deforms the firing pin. Should be ok to fire with empty brass in the chamber though

28gn pellet @920fps with the standard setting on the regulator. There's room to add a bit more velocity if I get to a position where 920 is not doing the job.

Does this change anything? No Not if the Binos do everything you say they will plus temperature. Your biggest enemy will always be wind, master that (or even half master it) and your winning.

You say we shouldn’t use ELD-M on tahr as we should respect the game, then you tell us you have used .22 LR on goats. They are game and deserve respect too. Seems a bit contradictory to me.
