    That's a great idea, but unfortunately the Alpine stock fits the short action 1500 (243, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm/08, 308 size). Your closest option for the Mini is the Henderson stock like Dreamer...

    A well respected guide i know was using a standard 243 for all of his wilderness tahr hunts. He's (his clients) shot in excess of 50 mature bull tahr with that 243, longest shot was 370 from memory....

    I couldn't watch it....he waffled too much without getting to the point. I went with 10thou off the lands and they seem to like it. Loaded up 3 rounds of each charge weight with 2208 and 2206h....

    What you need to do is go out and get yourself a Kimber. In 270. 149614 3.1kg as pictured. No silly shit hanging off the end of the barrel. Good working rifle.

    Didn't know my .308 with 168 Amax was so shit at killing animals compared to a 6.5 anything, maybe I 'd better stop doing it.......... good job I've got a wee .243............ hope no one tells it it...

    I've been round and round the caliber circle many times but now I've settled on one rifle and caliber a Sako carbon light in .260 mine is surppressed with a VX5 on it it weighs 3.5 kg and is awesome...
