Dublin liked post by mudgripz On thread : Best value no frills 3-9 hunting scope
I have a near mint Nikon for sale. They are good reliable scopes for the dollar. This one is a 3-9x40 with BDC reticle, retractable turrets etc. Clean straight unit for either centrefire or rimfire....

Dublin liked post by Flyblown On thread : Found dog...Kaimai's
The dog will get a good life, he'll join the team the young fella (16) is putting together to clean out paddock pigs, mostly small weaner pigs and yearlings that cause so much damage. So easy going,...

Dublin liked post by Shadowsol On thread : Think before you snip your pup
what I find really odd is how people think its ok to neuter (they aren't broken, you aren't fixing them) before 6months - they aren't even grown yet - it's literally hampering their development...

Dublin liked post by Hunty1 On thread : Rifle for bush hunting over indicating dog
I use a 16" 308 with the hound. I dont shoot over the top of her as still pretty loud. If I was building a dedicated rifle to shoot over the dog I'd look at 7.62x39 or 300blk suppressed.

Dublin liked post by gundoc On thread : Grease not oil on bolt actions?
A wipe over with a lightly oiled rag is all that is needed. A SMALL amount of lithium grease or copperkote on the cocking cam does no harm. Excess oil, gumming oils, and grease should NEVER be used...

I do the Scotsman's version of that. Automotive lithium/moly grease for suspensions comes in grease gun tubes. I repackage it in 5cc syringes and keep a closed cell foam cap on the nozzles. Ideal for...

Trouble is though, there is now a pervasive mindset within China that if you cheat someone for a profit, so long as they remain naive, you were the smart one who came out good. The Chinese people...
