   Agree with Pommy I picked up a cheap Sako a7 .300wsm. Grabbed a box of federal premium with the 185 bergers. 2870fps out of 22in barrel, shoot very well for factory loads.

   @ stagstalker If it’s Dean building and reaming your new Saum, you will more than likely need new brass. My ADG brass from another Saum causes clickers if fired in chamber reamed by Dean.

   That Coal with 162g -168g projectiles you should get in the 2850-2900fps range with a 20in barrel, and that’s not really leaning on it either using 2217. Plenty for NZ hunting.
