Same here :) Chuck a sling swivel in the side and away you go... Don't have to worry about the taper of the stock and it is in an ergonomic position.

Mate and I have done 25-30 of these JW15s - polish the action, chop to 16" and tidy up. All but one were well under 1" for 5 shot groups at 50m, and most could drop under 1/2" for groups at best....

And don't go out loaded for bear. Recce run means you aren't there to hunt right now, but talk to them and jack up phone numbers etc as well as a quick look to get the lay of the land.

I have always used Winchester subs through my over barrel suppressed 22 and they have been great. I prefer the 40 & 42gr, they hit hard and seem to be very accurate Sent from my work bench
