I think he would be a great place to start. Where in the country are you forrestwod? I know of another very capable saddler in Marlborough that would be able to do something there too.

A hunting mentor is a valuable thing. Even for folk with experience. I'd be keen to tag along to pick up the kiwi bush skills I've still to learn. Hunting is much more rewarding as a team activity.
