    Iv got the same mate,had nearly 16yrs,just ticking over 542000ks,never touched the motor.Replaced alternator and a now a new set of batterys.Doesnt burn oil,just keeps on trucking.

    Wouldn’t worry about the electrics in the older ones, yes maybe some caps need replacement but once it’s done it’s good for another 20 years If you go diesel terry then make sure it got good...
