Greetings, I bought some of the CAC stuff in boxes like that in the late sixties, cost thirty bob ($3.00) a packet. Likely to be Berdan primed. There may be collector interest in it, perhaps a lot....

Greetings Rusky, Some of the scope mounts used on .303 rifles can be pretty dodgy. If the rifle has iron sights it could be worth taking the scope off and testing with those and some modern ammo....

Greetings Stefanhope, The first thing is to ask yourself what changed? You had a clean barrel and your hold would have been different for your shots in the field. The fact that three shots went...

Assuming that you are using 20 grain projectiles your 9.5 grain load is below the Hodgdon start load. Some powders are very sensitive to sub max loads and the primers may not be expanding to seal in...

Greetings Canross, I have a 6.5 x 55 T3 just like yours and have developed loads for the 120 grain Sierra spitzer flat base and the 129 grain Hornady SST. 6.5 x 55 data is varied and confusing. I...

Greetings Nor-west, As a retro old codger may I suggest some of the round nose or flat point projectiles. These expand reliably down to about 1,700 fps and shoot flat enough for the 200 yards you...

Greetings Csmiffy, If you are going to fit a scope I would go for the one with the knob. The spoon job will need to be replaced to fit a low scope. Regards Grandpamac.
