    I have a 303 parker hale with scope mounted on it. Cant shoot past 100 yards without going all over the place. Pity as it has history and been in the family.

    When you compare our old system to most systems around the world it was pretty bloody good. A little bit of tweaking and it wouldve been near perfect.

    Yep. Bushnell elite 4500 on my 308. I zero at 100 with 168gr fiocchi exacta then dial up 8moa to zero at 25 for the subs. It makes for a good day out. Sent from my ELE-L09 using Tapatalk

    Tikka 308 with 18" barrel. I use 151gr casts and 7.5gr trailboss. Comes in at about 1040fps. Sent from my ELE-L09 using Tapatalk

    You will probably find that closer to 10 grains is sub sonic for an over 200 gr projectile. Just have a play around, that's what reloading is all about.

    Hodgdon have data online you can look at. Looks like Retumbo (AR2225) or H1000 (AR2217), or if nothing else H4831 (AR2213), should see you right.
