I use the Oryx on a T3x 223..well made/finished but too heavy for a stalking rifle. Great on the bench or for gongs.

It might be worth considering the Vixens for optical value, weight and compactness? 1" tube, the 3-12 is what I chose recently. Amazingly light and compact by current standards. Japanese manufacture....
