    Some manufactures with some threads have DIY, self install brakes which means indexing is a breeze :)

    But what are you calling a long way?, especially if you don't get out much, 6.5 Swede kills well with the 140Amax/Berger VLD out at 400 yds, and that is further than a lot should be shooting at...

    Ummm maybe you should set up the testing gear at 4.5m not 450m? 4db reduction at 450m???? I'm worried at about my ears about 1m away from the muzzle not someone 450m away. Sorry I really don't get...
