I came across the same problem yesterday. Rifle is threaded 1/2x20 and the suppressor is also 1/2x20 but after 3 turns it binds. Thread protector goes on fine. I should have included the...

Tankd liked post by Hermitage On thread : Zero MOA rail/base - why?
I would always opt for a cant/tilt in a base unless it is on a short-range bush rifle. Otherwise, if the scope is mounted on a 0 MOA base, a greater portion of the scope’s usable range of elevation...

It looks like the Klassik model which came with a 10 yr warranty (usually S&B comes with a poor 2 yr warranty). Probably not as old as you think. Just email the serial number (45085) to S&B and...

"Only an accurate rifle is an interesting rifle." If any of my rifles after "5 projectiles, 3 powders, and 55 groups" don't average .75 MOA then I move them on (except my Remington mountain rifle...

Before I bought a meplat trimmer I used the 'twist drill method' to expand the open tip SMKs. Use a 1.5mm drill and you should find the SMKs expand enough to be effective on game.

If you do decide on a VX-6 hunterNZ , then pay a bit more and buy the HD version. The VX-6HD not only has better glass but also an improved dual erector tracking system (which is worth the extra...

A 7mm Rem Mag was made for long-range shooting... 600 yds+ so you still need enough scope for that. My view is that 12x is not quite enough... However, with your 6-24x you end up with a 6x bottom...

I was defining 'efficiency' as the highest velocity. Wasted energy is not ultimately 'wasted' if it produces higher velocity in my definition.
