If you are bush stalking in the rain then the sound of your jacket scraping bush (assuming this is what you mean by quiet) would most likely be drowned out by fat ass water droplets hitting...

Look at the Swaro CL Companion 8x30, newer model. Best of both worlds, light and very good optics. You can buy just the binos without the strap and storage bag package for about $1500 and just use a...

+1 for the no muzzle brake on a do everything rifle, surprising how loud they are when taking a quick shot with no time to get the plugs in - never again. Suppressor or nothing

Sort of like a few weeks back when they were shooting fallow with .30cal magnums and then also ended up in the bush stalking them with range style rifles! I think for even a do all rifle a...

Yea the comment about no CM got me lost. Shoots the same pills as a 260 lol. The last thing I would want on a do everything rifle is a muzzle brake too. I remember watching an episode of the RSTHC...

Few questions? Why not CM? They work better in most short Actions and definitely better than 243. Why a carbon barrel they weigh more than most light sporter contour barrels and are mainly suited...

Definitely not too short. Seriously any 6.5mm to 308 calibre cartridge based on the 308 win will kill anything in NZ to as far as you have business shooting. A 147 eld m only needs to be going...
