208s go great in mine with 2217/H1000. First firing spaces off the belt, subsequent shots headspace off the shoulder like all others. I never found it an issue.

Check the TDC river flow on the Branch River. If it’s over 12 cubic metres per second I don’t risk it. Best if it’s below that and dropping. My standard Hilux gets to Bottom Gordon’s Hut easily...
