So this morning I finally accomplished a goal I set 4 years ago, to get a deer with the bow. I got back into bowhunting in late 2020, and managed to get a pig in Dec 2020. A nice big boar. In March...

260Rem has taken a lot of deer for me before I sold it to my uncle. Then he sold it back to me in his final stages of cancer. He threw in a couple of other guns with it also. I had just enough time...

The shoots we will be running are a "precision hunter" concept loosely based on Eric Cortinas Blackjack challenge (shot at 525Y, starts with a 10" plate, goes down to 2") and Texas Plinkers MOA...

Get your hand out of there and onto the fore end. Stick a sand bag under the butt of the rifle. I believe you're making a "hand sandwich", no good for accuracy from what I've seen.

The ranges shot in my suggestion are "in principle" only. However, the ptinciple of acceptable skill should still be applied. For instance; if no 500metre distance is available then a second three...
