When living at Hamurana I tried via various means to access wallaby hunting. Official cullers and their bosses were unwilling to help (guessing H&S). A few were seen by a mate on the Okareka to...

273065 This rifle, my first 6.5x55. 1916 CG presented as a shooting prize in Sweden in 1947. Beastly accurate with home loads, even with old eyes.

I had a rubbish experience with Lowa, satisfactory experience with Keen boots and now wear Salewa. When the lad ends up with some $$ I’d strongly recommend Salewa tho go half size bigger.

FWIW, have just clocked 1000 Km with new D Max. Avge fuel consumption is 8.3 litres/100, which isn’t bad for a 3litre turbo diesel.

I bought new Dmax yesterday. 6 year/150,000 km warranty. Awaiting canopy. Twisted dealers arm to get good ruc added, monsoons etc. seems Isuzu are giving decent discounts from rrp.
