Kids on school holidays this week, so ive had them out a couple of afternoons/evenings to do some pest control. They've been quite handy as game retrievers. We had some more anatomy...

Thanks Janleroux, The deer targets are still used for the annual Taruarau Shoot between Taihape and Hawkes Bay Branches (Napier and Hastings) but there are only two or less branches still entering...

    I worked up to 46 grains 2209 in the 6.5*55 to 2860fps but feel 45.6 is best. The top node of 5 shots are 46, 45.8, 45.6, 45.4, 45.2. This group shot at 200m. 1/4moa x 1/2moa. 45.5 will give mv...

They are good in most uses especially when used in the heavier weights for calibre. I do think I read about a few that didn't expand as well. I can't remember exactly but i have used 6.5 140s, and...

I recently developed a good accurate load with 130gn ELD-M in my 6.5*55. Now I am curious to know if others have used these on game? If so; how did they perform?

That's a significant ES. Today I weighed 157x Lapua 6.5x47L cases and the ES was 0.9 grain. That was after I culled an outlyer which had the ES at 1.2 grains. That quality isn't much help though...

That measure really tells the story. Thankyou for the effort. I use norma brass in four calibres and within each calibre (.308win; 6.5*55 , 30-06spr and 308NMag I find only 0-3grains variance...
