Thread: In the news for all the wrong reasons !

" In the news for all the wrong reasons " seemed like a good idea when I casually mentioned it in another post

So I will kick it off.
Thought about it and didn't think I had ever been in the news for all the wrong reasons and then remembered that there is a chapter in a hunting book that's actually about me and supposed to be in my own words !
But a whole lot more wordy than I am

Rather than tell the story myself I will leave it to

Big Al' Lester
in his last hunting book "Stag Doo"

Now I should also mention that Crimpy did a bit of a yarn about this same event way back
Al's was a little bit closer to the truth .... but only very slightly closer
But he does tell a good yarn and he's a good listener as long as there is beer or rum on hand
There is a lot of artistic license goes into Al's yarns and in person there are a lot that could never go in print !
