Either or. If looking at high end stuff, the bigger you go the bigger the cost. Can't go past Swarovski or Leica but they are pricey. Unless something better comes along I wouldn't use any other...

Shit these are some expensive Bipods! I thought the Atlas was expensive. I'd go with a pack and/or a shooting sling and keep a Harris in my pack for any long range shots.

They have a free moving cant which I thought was very average. Sold my one and bought a Javelin bipod (also very light) with the gunsmith fitted adapter. I'm very happy with the Javelin. I'd sooner...

Me too. Cost is a big factor too. You need to spend some big $$$ to get a decent spotting scope, my Cannon SX60HS does a fair enough job.
