In my MSR multifuel I've trailed using petrol. No real difference between 91 and 96. It's significantly slower to boil water using petrol as opposed to white spirits, so you end up carrying more...

I can avoid bush hunting here in Central so couldn't possibly comment on the 45/70 haha. I like my 270, one day I hope to be good enough and use a 223 like Thar does.

Looks like it comes with a 3-9x42 scope. A ready to go package for a sharp price if it's still available. The only thing that could possibly be better is a 270 :fighting:
