The 70 grain Speers were designed to stablise in 1:14 twist barrels. I have used them in 14 twist Sako .222, BSA .222, 14 twist .22-250, and 1:12 twist .223, and they shoot very well in all of them....

What other factory ammo can you get there? The Barnes 95g bullet is shooting for you. I have used the standard .243 a fair bit on red deer. The 90 grain Ballistic tip is a good bullet, and the...

A fast .243 can make more damage than the .308 or a .303. Using the 90 grain BT or the 85 grain Sierra HP at 3180 fps, I shoot them the same place as I would a .30/06 without thinking about it...

You seem to be wilfully ignoring a recent sighting by a reliable eye witness. :D Two recent eyewitnesses actually, counting the chopper pilot in 2020. (That was always the thing people said - "how...

I use AP70N for low powered rabbit loads in the .223, with 55 grain bullet going 2000fps -turning it into a .22 Magnum. I also have low powered load for the .308 too, 14 grains with a 147 grain FMJ...

The truth is some rifles in the same chambering, even in the same model, are faster than others, tighter bores, looser chambers, deeper rifling, less or more freebore, so it depends. The short barrel...
