A shorter barrel of the same diameter is relatively stiffer, and will have less 'whip' as a result of vibration, potentially reducing one of the variables that affect accuracy.

My 260 with a 19" barrel is doing 2700 with 140s and 2800 with 130s. Id imagine 2600fps with 140s would be fairly easy with the Creedmoor. Accuracy won't be an issue unless the gunsmith messed it...
